Michigan State fans lead in submissions for the virtual Big Ten 10k

MSU fans lead the way in the 2020 virtual race for charity.

Go Green indeed.

Michigan State University fans always show up and show out in a big way and this year the green and white faithful are the top fanbase in the Big Ten Network’s virtual Big Ten 10k.

The Spartans are followed up by Ohio State and Michigan fans.

The Big 10K, a road race typically held at the end of July in downtown Chicago, will be virtual this year to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of congregating in one place and running together, participants are asked to walk or run either a 5K or 10K anytime between July 26 and August 1 all in the name of raising money for charitable organizations.

Last week former Michigan State quarterback Kirk Cousins was named the Grand Marshall for the 2020 event, continuing the heavy green and white imprint on the event.
