Michigan State basketball has been selected as a 7-seed in the 2022 NCAA Tournament. The Spartans will play the Davidson Wildcats in the round of 64, who was selected as a 10 seed. The Spartans and the Wildcats will be squaring off in Greenville, South Carolina on Friday.
Michigan State finished the regular season and Big Ten Tournament with a 22-12 record, which was good for 7th place in the Big Ten. The Spartans were also semifinalists in the Big Ten Tournament, knocking off the Maryland Terrapins and Wisconsin Badgers before falling to the Purdue Boilermakers in the semifinals.
