Michigan State basketball continue their fall from grace in the polls. The Spartans were as high as No. 4 this season in the AP and Coaches Poll. Now, after defeats against Northwestern and Wisconsin, the Spartans have taken a tumble to No. 18 in the Coaches Poll.

Last week, the Spartans were ranked No. 11 in the Coaches Poll and No. 12 in the AP Poll. Now they hope to bounce back tonight against the No. 21 Minnesota Golden Gophers. The game starts at 8:00 p.m. EST and will be played at Williams Arena in Minneapolis.

If the Spartans hope to snap the two game skid, they will need big performances from players like Aaron Henry and Rocket Watts. Those two have only combined from 33 points over the past two games. The Spartans will need one, if not both, of them to have a good game tonight to snap the losing streak. Joey Hauser flashed his star potential in the losing effort against Wisconsin with a career-high 27 points. If he has another performance like that perhaps it can lead to a Spartans win.

Can Tom Izzo and the Spartans get their first Big Ten win on the season. Tune in tonight on the Big Ten Network.
