Michigan State basketball is in Spain on a preseason trip to build team camaraderie. During the trip, it is playing three exhibition games to gain experience.
In Game 1, the Spartans beat a good Madrid All-Star team, 94-87, showing an ability to close a game out. Game 2 was the opposite. After traveling to Valencia to face the Valencia All-Stars, the Spartans dominated, 105-59.
MSU doubled up Valencia at halftime, 48-24, and expanded the margin with a massive third quarter that put MSU ahead 72-31. Michigan State gained game experience for the entire team, which used different lineups on the court all night.
The Spartans have one more game in Spain before heading back to the States.
