MSU is the superior defensive and rebounding team in this matchup. This game is a jump in class for the Irish, and the Notre Dame shooting numbers (56% effective field goal) are suspect and likely due some regression.
The Spartans’ performances the last few weeks, even in their loss to Alabama last Thursday, spell a team that can be pegged as a 60% proposition in this game.
