Michigan State at Michigan: Prediction, point spread, odds, best bet

Michigan State opens as a massive underdog in rivalry matchup with Wolverines this week

The Michigan State Spartans play the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over/under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet at BetMGM.

The game starts at 7:30 p.m. ET and can be seen on ABC.

Both the Spartans and Wolverines enter this matchup off byes this past weekend and looking to build off wins in their last outings. Michigan State snapped a four-game losing streak in an overtime victory over Wisconsin and Michigan blew out Penn State to remain undefeated on the season.

Advice and prediction

Mel Tucker has yet to lose a game by single digits while at Michigan State so the safe bet here is to pick a Wolverines double-digit win. Unless, of course, you think the Spartans will win outright. I don’t consider that possibility impossible but I’m also not ready to completely buy back into Michigan State where I think they pull the upset in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Prediction: Michigan 31, Michigan State 21
