With Michigan’s pursuit of West Bloomfield (MI) four-star RB Donovan Edwards and Hopewell (VA) five-star RB TreVeyon Henderson, there’s been one target that the Wolverines have been eyeing that the staff has long pursued — and it’s paid off.
The maize and blue have long sought after 2021 Cincinnati (OH) Roger Bacon four-star running back Corey Kiner, ranked No. 160 overall by the 247Sports Composite. He was offered back on Jan. 10, 2019 and has been on campus multiple times, including last spring and for the Ohio State game in Ann Arbor last fall.
After multiple (hilarious) fake recruitment videos, where Kiner would list, say, Skyline Chili as being his favorite instead of a school, he finally released his actual top ten on Friday, and Michigan made the cut.
In no particular order these are the schools I feel most comfortable with and hope to grow closer with. Things can change over the next few weeks/months but this is my top ten, recruitment 100% open! (Edit By: @bspaeth7) pic.twitter.com/u6Uq2L9mbE

However, the Wolverines have heavy competition for his services, as Ohio State, LSU, Georgia, Penn State, Texas A&M, Louisville, Florida, Cincinnati and Purdue also made Kiner’s top ten.
