ANN ARBOR, Mich. —  The endgame might not have been what Michigan football wanted, but in recruiting, it’s not always about the end result of what prospects see on the field.

Actually, sometimes, in some ways, a loss can entice a recruit that they can step in and be an early difference-maker.

For the Ohio State game, the Wolverines easily had their biggest recruiting weekend of the season, hosting dozens of recruits and commits for The Game.

Among the standouts were frequent visitor, 2021 Clarkston (MI) four-star lineman Rocco Spindler, 2021 Cincinnati (OH) Roger Bacon four-star RB Corey Kiner (who OSU is also pursuing), 2021 Oradell (NJ) Bergen Catholic four-star DT Tywone Malone, 2022 Aurora (CO) Regis Jesuit four-star QB Nicco Marchiol (who made his second in-season visit), 2021 Winnetka (IL) New Trier four-star OT David Davidkov, 2021 Brentwood (TN) Academy four-star OT Eli Sutton, 2021 Bradenton (FL) IMG Academy four-star OT JC Latham and 2021 Belleville (MI) four-star DT Damon Payne.

WolverinesWire was there to capture as many of the top prospects who made the visit to The Big House.
