Not shocking who is No. 1! #GoBlue

In Week 2 against Hawaii, J.J. McCarthy had his first-career start and it went to perfection. The Wolverines defeated the Rainbow Warriors, 56-10.

McCarthy was nearly perfect on Saturday. He completed 11-for-12 for 239 yards and threw for three touchdowns.

The Wolverines totaled 588 yards of offense. Michigan averaged 10.7 yards-per-play on Saturday and the maize and blue were able to move the ball at ease. It helped that Hawaii is potentially one of the worst defenses in all of football, but with McCarthy under center, the offense looked effortless in whatever it tried to do. Even the rushing attack dominated, the Wolverines rushed for 268 yards in Week 2.
