Michigan football WR Tyler Morris makes transfer portal commitment

The receiver trade is complete.

Michigan football is in desperate need of wide receivers for the new era, and though it’s added one in former Indiana wideout Donaven McCulley, it’s also lost one in junior Tyler Morris.

Perhaps ironically, it ended up being something of a trade of sorts.

Things had been awfully quiet for Morris in terms of the transfer portal, as there were no reported visits or any signs as to his future destination. However, on Saturday, Morris posted that he is committing to fellow Big Ten foe Indiana — the same school the Wolverines got McCulley from.

He will have one year of eligibility with the Hoosiers.

In three years with the maize and blue, Morris had 470 yards and three touchdowns on 39 pass receptions. He was the second-highest Wolverine in terms of receiving yards in 2024, behind only tight end Colston Loveland.

With Morris gone, the Wolverines will continue to target Yale WR David Pantelis, Clemson WR Tony Stellato, and Appalachian State WR Kaedin Robinson.
