Michigan football top 10 defensive players in Week 1 per PFF

Really excited about the defense! #GoBlue

Though there were doubts galore — mostly from the national media — Michigan football passed its first defensive test with flying colors in Week 1. Sure, Colorado State was a 3-9 team last year, but head coach Jay Norvell brought the Air Raid and 59 new players with him to Ann Arbor to try and upset the Wolverines.

However, Jim Harbaugh had stated throughout the offseason that he felt that this ‘no-star’ defense could be better than last year’s, and we saw why on Saturday.
