Michigan football fans might not want to be hurt again, but that doesn’t mean the program isn’t putting on the full-court press to lure the nation’s top prospect to Ann Arbor.
Not only did Michigan general manager Sean Magee show up to the MHSAA playoff game between Howell and Belleville on Friday, but it appears a certain Wolverines commit made it, too. Now, why is that important? Because the quarterback from Belleville is five-star Bryce Underwood and the maize and blue are in full pursuit working to flip his commitment from LSU.
Per The Michigan Insider’s Sam Webb, not only did Magee make it to Underwood’s game, so did four-star Michigan wide receiver commit Andrew Marsh.

Of course, it’s going to take more than simply showing up to his games and giving him a max name, image and likeness licensing deal to pry Underwood from LSU. But the Michigan contingent certainly isn’t going to let him go to Baton Rouge without a fight, and this is at least progress.
