Michigan football players on Super Bowl rosters through time

Whether it was as an active player, on the practice squad, IR or was a coach in the game, here are the former Wolverines in the Super Bowl.

As the 55th edition of the Super Bowl is set to take place on Sunday, there have been 69 former Michigan football players who have been on the roster or have coached for the big game throughout history.

Some of them were active players, some were on the practice squad, some were on injured reserve and others coached in the game. Also, two more players are set to partake in the Super Bowl for the first time as both Mike Danna and Chad Henne are on the Kansas City Chiefs active roster this time around — Henne was injured and not on the roster by the playoffs last year when the Chiefs won it all.

The Wolverines have four total players participating this year — Danna, Henne, Tom Brady and Frank Clark; and one coach in Harold Goodwin — and are one of the most well-represented teams in Super Bowl LV. By order of initial appearance, here are all the former Michigan football players who have been on the roster in one way or another.
