Michigan football offers southern 2025 defensive lineman

Can #Michigan keep getting high-level prospects from Charlotte, N.C.?

Michigan football has done more than a solid job making in-roads into the state of North Carolina recently.

The Wolverines reeled in two from Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day stars, including five-star quarterback Jadyn Davis and four-star wide receiver Channing Goodwin. While they continue to work on fellow wideout Jordan Shipp from the same high school, they’re keeping an eye on others in the region.

Enter Charles House, a 2025 Charlotte (N.C.) North Mecklenberg defensive lineman. House is not yet rated in his recruiting cycle, but he had six offers before Thursday: Auburn, Charlotte, East Carolina, Liberty, Old Dominion, and South Carolina.

And now he can boast an offer to play in the Big Ten for Michigan football.

At 6-foot-3, 288-pounds as a high school sophomore, House is the requisite size to play inside. More schools are coming calling, with House getting an offer from Miami shortly after the Wolverines extended theirs.
