Michigan football’s 2024 season is officially over following the ReliaQuest Bowl win over Alabama on Tuesday. Now all attention turns to recruiting and the transfer portal as the Wolverines look to enhance the roster for the 2025 season.
The maize and blue are getting going in a hurry with one transfer portal target set to be in Ann Arbor this weekend. Though not a household name, Yale wide receiver David Pantelis was a 1,000-yard receiver in 2024 with 69 catches for 1,018 yards. Originally in the 2021 recruiting class, Pantelis is listed at 6-foot-1, 185 pounds and hails from Pittsburgh (Pa.) Upper St. Clair.
On3’s EJ Holland reports that Pantelis will be in Ann Arbor this weekend for an official visit.

The Wolverines already have former Indiana receiver Donaven McCulley in the fold and are looking at bringing in at least one more receiver, if not multiple. UConn wideout Skyler Bell is arguably the top target, but Pantelis and Clemson wide receiver Tony Stellato are among the other targets — along with a mystery receiver that’s yet to have been divulged.
