Michigan football already had one of its top targets and cornerbacks committed in Grosse Pointe (MI) South five-star Will Johnson. Now it has another.
The Wolverines already had something of an inside track with 2022 Brentwood (TN) Ravenwood four-star cornerback Myles Pollard, as he attended the same high school as true freshman linebacker Junior Colson. But as Michigan’s interest in Pollard continued to ascend, so did the interest he was receiving from other top-flight schools. While Pollard was choosing between the maize and blue, Auburn and Oklahoma, despite being rated No. 431 overall according to the 247Sports Composite, he also holds offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Miami (FL), Penn State and Washington, amongst others.

But on Wednesday, Pollard chose to continue his college career with Michigan football, having announced he’s committed to wearing a winged helmet.
Steve Clinkscale is Pollard’s primary recruiter for Michigan, having taken over the role after joining the staff late this spring. Pollard is the Wolverines’ 15th commitment in 2022 and the second corner to pledge to the class.
Pollard is considered a four-star according to Rivals and a three-star according to 247Sports.
