The class of 2026 is starting to take shape, and Notre Dame football is contending for multiple top targets.
One of those prospects is Michigan offensive tackle [autotag]Gregory Patrick[/autotag], who on Monday narrowed down his list to just nine schools with the Irish included. The 6-foot, 5-inch and 275-pound lineman also is still considering other programs like Penn State, Oklahoma, Michigan, Alabama and others.
Patrick is a coveted player, as he ranks as the nation’s No. 155 overall prospect and 13th ranked offensive tackle according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. The Irish offered him a scholarship in March, one of the many made during “Pot of Gold Day.”
Thank you to the amazing coaches & programs who have invested time in recruiting me. I’m extremely humbled & grateful for their interest. Going into my junior year, I will be focusing on these 9 schools, but most of all on my @PNHuskieFB brothers & pursuing our goals! #RollSkies pic.twitter.com/swCJaxaQdP

Notre Dame will need to get him back to campus for them to be considered serious contenders, but there is plenty of time to do so. Patrick is surely high on the coaches staff recruiting board, so expect them to press him to make a visit during the season.
