Notre Dame basketball has done enough to impress Michigan shooting guard [autotag]Trey McKenney[/autotag] for him to schedule a visit to South Bend in the near future.
The 6-foot, 4-inch and 225-pound shooter is considered one of the top players nationally. McKenney is ranked as the No. 16 overall prospect and 3rd at his position according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
According to a report by Joe Tipton of On3, McKenney has scheduled visits to USC, Michigan State, Oregon, Creighton and the Irish. Just by reading between the recruiting lines, Notre Dame seems to be in a very good position with the 5-star prospect as he moves on in his recruitment.

McKenney is also considering visiting a few other schools, but nothing has been set up with them at the moment. The schools that do have visit upcoming should be viewed as the favorites in his recruitment.
