The New England Patriots got good news and bad news along the offensive line for Week 6 against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday at Gillette Stadium.
The team will have guard Michael Onwenu and tackle Isaiah Wynn on the sideline after both players missed the game in Week 5 due to COVID-19 protocols. While Onwenu participated fully in all three practices, Wynn was activated to the roster on Saturday and missed all three practices. It will be interesting to see if he plays, because of how little he could do to prepare with the team for this week’s game.
The bad news? Guard Shaq Mason will not play due to an abdomen issue.
Cornerback Jalen Mills, who was also absent last week, will make his return. He’ll line up as CB2 across from J.C. Jackson. Running back Damien Harris (ribs) was was questionable but will also play.
The team’s inactives include Mason, cornerbacks Shaun Wade and Joejuan Williams, running back J.J. Taylor., defensive end Ronnie Perkins and tight end Devin Asiasi.
