Michael Malone: The last three years, the Denver Nuggets have had more wins than anybody in the NBA except the Milwaukee Bucks. We’re the only team in the West to get out of the first round three years in a row. When you start looking at the success, the wins, and Nikola being the centerpiece to that, then you realize just how truly great he is. We didn’t play on Christmas this year. When was the last time an MVP was not featured on a Christmas day game? You know, there’s all these things that you say, ‘You feel like Rodney Dangerfield.’ You feel like you don’t get the respect that you deserve. But then you say, ‘You know what, why waste time worrying about that? Let’s spend time worrying about the things that we can control,’ and that is enjoying each other’s company.
