“The Last Dance” has been an incredibly well done docuseries that has brought us into the life of Michael Jordan during his legendary playing days with the Chicago Bulls.
It has also done a great job of showing us just how competitive Jordan was both on and off the floor. And also how much he loved to gamble. on ANYTHING.
We learned in Sunday night’s second episode that it included a gambling game in which Jordan and some security guards at the United Center gambled on throwing quarters closest to the wall before games.
For real.
And this amazing security guard with an even more amazing mullet became a breakout star after he took some money from Jordan and celebrated with the Jordan shrug:

Jordan’s security guard is the most undercover security guard I’ve ever seen. #TheLastDance pic.twitter.com/RGOYBlEGIF

Security guard getting the best of Jordan in this degenerate gambling game is fantastic.

Not Magic Johnson. Not Clyde Drexler. Not Charles Barkley. Not Shawn Kemp or Gary Payton. Not Karl Malone or John Stockton. But the security guard with a perm chucking quarters at a wall stopped Michael Jordan.

Jordan playing quarters with a security guard that looks like he moonlights as a keyboard tech for Hall & Oates is more riveting than it should be. #TheLastDance

nobody in history owns a better story than the security guard who took $ off of #Jordan in quarters. #TheLastDance
