Another piece of Michael Jordan memorabilia has sold for big bucks on the market but this one has a bit of a unique story to it.
Jordan’s game-worn jersey from the game against Lithuania in 1992 fetched a monster price tag of $3.03M in an online auction. It was a part of the infamous “Dream Team” that is one of the most recognizable teams in all of sports over the years.
But it wasn’t just any ordinary collector that made the sale. It was one of Jordan’s teammates on that squad.
Former Utah Jazz forward Karl Malone auctioned off 12 Dream Team jerseys last week. That included the autographed Jordan jersey in the bunch. The rest of the jerseys from Malone’s teammates fetched a combined $1.4M.

Collecting Jordan can be lucrative for sellers even to this day as signed items and others can be very rare. Recently, Jordan’s jacket from the Dream Team where he covered up the Reebok logo on the medal stand also recently fetched a big price tag at an auction.
And items like this aren’t available often.
