Bill Belichick often seems like a miserable guy who doesn’t have a lot to say. But the more mic’d up videos you see of him the more you realize he’s not really the guy who stands up in front of the media and mumbles through some non-answers.
Lots of players love Belichick, and not just the ones who have played for him and won championships with him over the years.
If you need proof of that then check out this mic’d up conversation he had with DeAndre Hopkins during the Patriots’ win over the Cardinals on Monday Night Football a few days ago:

That was pretty awesome.
It also had Patriots fans hoping that Hopkins will one day play for New England. Hopkins is under contract with the Cardinals for the next two years but hey, fans can dream.
