Former Wisconsin Badger big Micah Potter did not hear his name called in the 2021 NBA Draft, but will be joining a team for NBA Summer League and training camp at the very least.
Potter signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Miami Heat shortly after the conclusion of the draft. The deal essentially offers the former Badger a training camp spot with a bit of a twist. The Heat would have the opportunity to control Potter’s G-League rights if he doesn’t make the roster, and would also be able to convert his contract into a two-way, which Miami did last year with rookie Max Strus.
Potter will also be a part of Miami’s NBA Summer League roster.
The Miami Heat have agreed to an Exhibit 10 deal with Micah Potter (Wisconsin), a league source told @HoopsHype.
