Former Wisconsin Badger Micah Potter will be headed to NBA training camp this fall.
After playing in NBA Summer League under an Exhibit 10 deal with the Miami Heat, the Ohio native has officially signed with Miami and will attend training camp with the Heat.
Potter played six Summer League games with the Heat and averaged 7.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks, while shooting 55.9 percent from the field and a perfect 2-of-2 from the foul line. In his best outing of the Las Vegas trip, he posted a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double while blocking five shots against Dallas.
Potter will have a chance to make a stacked Heat roster, but could also be retained by Miami to play with the Sioux Falls Skyforce, their G-League affiliate.
Love to see it, @BigJam_23! ✍️
Congrats to Micah Potter on being signed by the @MiamiHEAT‼️🔥
