We don’t know any formal details, but here’s what we do know. The Miami Dolphins will be returning to London once again in 2020. The revelation wasn’t announced by anything the NFL provided regarding the Dolphins specifically — but rather an announcement about the Arizona Cardinals.
The NFL released a statement yesterday that the Arizona Cardinals would be serving as the home team for the NFL’s 2020 scheduled game in Mexico City — axing the Dolphins from playing in Mexico via a process of elimination.
Nothing else is known at this time, including a date or an opponent. But we do know our friends across the pond will have a chance to experience Miami Dolphins football for the first time in three seasons. The Dolphins, in all have played in London four times during the NFL’s international series, boasting a 1-3 record and having lost each of their last two games (one to the rival New York Jets and the latest coming at the hands of the New Orleans Saints).
Keep your eyes peeled for more information on who and when the Dolphins will back up to head overseas in the coming weeks.
