What will the role of Elandon Roberts look like?
Roberts has played a slew of roles for the New England Patriots in the past — including offense and special teams. Where will the majority of his reps come for the Dolphins? Will he see a prominent role as a pass rusher or in coverage? Will Miami defer some snaps to him as a fullback as the Patriots did? Roberts is only here on a one-year deal, but his opportunity in Miami should be bigger than whatever he was in the mix to contend for in New England — so look for Miami to get creative in ways to implement Roberts on defense.
We just may not grasp exactly what that looks like until we actually see it.
