‘Metal Gear Solid’ creator Hideo Kojima wants to play ‘Deathloop’ even if it makes him sick

Motion sickness can be a total pain.

Deathloop is the talk of the town right now, and even Hideo Kojima of Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding fame couldn’t help jumping on the hype train. Though he’s a little concerned that it’ll, well, make him motion sick.

Deathloop, the latest shooter from developer Arkane Studios, is all about high-flying antics and time travel. It’s the kind of game that’ll surely test your noggin as well as any spatial awareness issues you might have. Kojima, who’s known for mind-bending games himself, is eager to give Deathloop a try. The trouble is, he’s not sure he can handle its first-person perspective.

Deathloop. It’s a time loop game with an interesting system,” Kojima said on Twitter. “I want to play it, but it’s an FPS, and I’ll probably get 3D-sick. Hmmm.”

He went on to claim that beyond FPS games, loads of activities make him sick: swings, theme park rides, and even riding at the front of buses!

Check out Kojima’s comments for yourself below.

Many of Kojima’s peers and fans shared similar sentiments or tips on how to not hurl while playing Deathloop. Or they chimed in with a cheeky joke

Oh, and the official Deathloop Twitter account had some advice for Kojima too.

Hopefully Kojima can find a way to play, without getting nauseous, of course!
