Menโ€™s Lacrosse reveals 2024 Schedule

The Rutgers men’s lacrosse schedule is out.

After months of anticipation, Rutgers lacrosse fans can start marking their calendars. On Thursday, the Scarlet Knights revealed their schedule for the 2024 campaign. With the season set to kick off on February 3, the Scarlet Knights will face 13 teams.

During the 2024 season, Rutgers will play five Big Ten teams. Their non-conference slate includes five home games and two on the road. Due to their success last year, they have a challenging season ahead.

The Scarlet Knights will face nine teams that finished in the top 30 of the NCAA RPI last season. That includes group includes six teams that made the NCAA Tournament. Rutgers is also set to play the Patriot League and Ivy League champions.

 

In Big Ten play, Rutgers will welcome Penn State, Ohio State and John Hopkins to Piscataway. They are set to go on the road to face Michigan and Maryland. Their non-conference play also includes plenty of intriguing matchups.

The Scarlet Knights will face Lehigh, Army, Hofstra, Detroit Mercy and Princeton. They will go on the road to face Brook and Loyola. When the regular season ends Rutgers hopes a deep playoff run is in store.

Ohio State will host the Big Ten Tournament semifinals and championship game this season. The Big Ten Tournament Quarterfinal matchups will be played at the higher-seed team’s stadium.

Entering the 2024 campaign, Rutgers has high expectations, having advanced to the NCAA Tournament in two of the past three seasons. In 2022, they made it to the Final Four.
