The Memphis Grizzlies (8-6) wrap up a two-game miniseries with the San Antonio Spurs (11-9) Monday at AT&T Center. Tip-off is set for 8:30 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Grizzlies-Spurs NBA odds and lines, with picks and predictions.
The Grizzlies rolled the Spurs 129-112 in San Antonio Saturday. Memphis won three of four quarters and tied the other. The Grizz outshot the Spurs .654 to .548 in effective field-goal percentage. Memphis had its previous five games postponed due to COVID-19 issues but the Grizzlies are on a six-game winning streak dating back to Jan. 8.
San Antonio’s loss to Memphis Saturday snapped a three-game winning streak for the Spurs. They’re 3-3 straight up and against the spread over their last six games.
These teams split the first two meetings this season and Memphis is 3-3 SU and ATS since drafting last season’s Rookie of the Year PG Ja Morant.

Grizzlies at Spurs: Odds, lines, predictions and picks
Prediction
Grizzlies 115, Spurs 111
Money line (ML)
The Grizzlies-Spurs game Saturday was Memphis’ first following an 11-day layoff due to COVID-19 issues and the Grizzlies didn’t show any signs of rust.
It was a full-team effort for Memphis with seven players scoring in double figures and 60 points off the bench. Also, the Grizzlies score the most points in the paint in the Association while the Spurs are 23rd in opponent’s points in the paint.
Ultimately, I PASS with a lean on Grizzlies (+135) because as we’ve seen a lot already this season, it’s hard to beat the same team in consecutive games.
Against the spread (ATS)
GIMME GRIZZLIES +3.5 (-110) for 1 unit. Since the beginning of last season, the Spurs have the third-lowest cover percentage as a home favorite. While the Grizzlies are only .500 ATS as a road underdog, they do have a plus-4 ATS margin in these spots since last season.
Also, Morant has balled in the last six Grizzlies-Spurs meetings, averaging 23 points per game on 53.3% field-goal shooting which is his second-highest PPG against any team. There’s no question Morant can pick up the slack until his teammates clear health and safety protocols.
Over/Under (O/U)
Sheepishly, I’m going to follow the Over trend with Grizzlies-Spurs that has cashed in four of their last five contests. Memphis and Morant do such a good job spreading the ball around that it’s hard for mediocre defenses to stop them.
If Morant is going to continue to knife through San Antonio’s defense, the Grizzlies will keep getting good looks. Memphis’ style of attacking the paint and getting in transition should push Grizzlies-Spurs Over the total.
I’ll TAKE OVER 220.5 (-110) for a half-unit.
