Memphis could finally get back second-year star PG Ja Morant who’s been out since spraining his ankle in a Dec. 28 game vs. the Brooklyn Nets. After losing four of their first five without Morant, the Grizzlies have rattled off three straight wins, covering in all three.
Minnesota has lost seven of its past 10 (8-2 against the spread) vs. Memphis, including four straight losses.

Back-to-back games against the Timberwolves is just what a struggling Grizzlies’ offense needs. At the moment Memphis is ranked 27th in offensive rating, but the Grizzlies have scored at least 112 points in their last four games against a Minnesota defense ranked 29th in defensive rating.
Also, Timberwolves All-Star Karl-Anthony Towns doesn’t dominate his matchup—C Jonas Valančiūnas—like he needs to for Minnesota to beat Memphis. Valančiūnas’ team has won six of 10 games against KAT’s.
I’ll TAKE GRIZZLIES (+100) for a half-unit with the plan of betting them heavier to cover.
