Melvin Gordon joins tradition of great Denver Broncos running backs

Melvin Gordon has agreed to terms with the Denver Broncos, stepping into a backfield that has a great history.

The great Terrell Davis came to the Broncos as a sixth-round pick out of Georgia. Knee injuries shortened his career but not before he had four 1,000-yard seasons, including a three-year run from 1996-98 that went 1,538-1,750-2,008. The Hall of Famer finished with 7,607 yards rushing.
