Among the bevy of engine sounds that fill the motorsports landscape, the Mazda Rotary that powered the 767B prototype and RX-7 GTO cars of the early 1990s holds a special place in the hearts, and ears, of enthusiasts. Those four-rotor engines had a unique wail that set it apart from others in the IMSA fields of the time.
