Formula 1 arrived in Spain for the Spanish Grand Prix, and it started off with a bang. George Russell made a sensational move in the opening lap of the race to steal the race lead before [autotag]Max Verstappen[/autotag] passed him with DRS. Verstappen led the way, but Lando Norris was closing in the final laps. In the end, it wasn’t enough for Norris to earn his second career Formula 1 victory.
Verstappen won the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, earning his seventh victory of the Formula 1 season. At 26 years old, the three-time F1 champion now has 61 wins, 30 wins away from matching Michael Schumacher. Verstappen is now 42 wins away from matching Lewis Hamilton for the most all-time.
