Redshirt freshman kicker Max Gilbert won the placekicker position battle ahead of the 2024 football season for Tennessee.
The 6-foot, 200-pound kicker redshirted in 2023 and has appeared in all seven contests for the Vols through Week 8 in 2024.
Gilbert has converted 12-of-15 field goal attempts with a long of 45 yards versus North Carolina State. He made a season-high three field goals at Oklahoma and earned SEC Special Teams Player of the Week honors.
Gilbert has also converted 31-of-31 extra point attempts. He has totaled 67 points this season.
