The free agency frenzy has begun in the NBA and the Philadelphia 76ers are currently in the middle of chasing Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George as they look to coax him to the City of Brotherly Love.
One of Philadelphia’s own free agents, Tobias Harris, is currently courting teams for his services. He averaged 17.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.1 assists while shooting 48.7% from the floor and 35.3% from deep. He had a sour ending to the 2023-24 season when he went scoreless in the Game 6 elimination loss to the New York Knicks, but he is a productive player.
Per Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Dallas Mavericks are among four teams that have an interest in Harris:
The Detroit Pistons, Utah Jazz, San Antonio Spurs, and Dallas Mavericks were among the teams expressing interest in the 13-year veteran, according to a source. The Mavs would have to land Harris via a sign-and-trade.
Harris signed a 5-year max deal with the Sixers in 2019. It wasn’t the prettiest time for him in the City of Brotherly Love, but he needs a change of scenery so a team like the Mavericks, for example, would be a nice fit for him.
