Meanwhile back in Washington … DT Matt Ioannidis was taken off the reserve/COVID-19 list. He remains on injured reserve with a torn bicep.

The Washington Football Team has been extremely diligent when it comes to working around and dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic that is hitting both the nation and the NFL hard this fall. While teams such as the Baltimore Ravens, Denver Broncos, and San Francisco 49ers have been dealt haymakers by the virus, things have held pretty steady in Washington for the most part, with only one player testing positive during the season, needing to be moved to the reserve/COVID-19 list.
That player was DL Matt Ioannidis, who was already on the injured reserve for a torn bicep suffered early in the season. While he remains out for the rest of the year, we are getting news that he has been elevated off of the COVID-19 list, and is doing well. Now we can just hope that he continues to rehab form his bicep injury and return to be a valuable piece of the Washington defensive line in 2021.
