[autotag]Mateusz Gamrot[/autotag] will be in search of his first UFC win when he takes on a gritty lightweight.
Gamrot (17-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) faces [autotag]Scott Holtzman[/autotag] (14-4 MMA, 7-4 UFC) at UFC Fight Night on April 10 at a location and venue to be announced.
A person with knowledge of the matchup informed MMA Junkie of the booking but asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement. Reporter Kuba Voranek was first to report the news.
Poland’s Gamrot is a former two-division KSW champion. Currently training at American Top Team, the formerly unbeaten fighter suffered his first career loss when he was edged out by Guram Kutateladze in his promotional debut at UFC Fight Night 180 in October.
Winner of five of his past seven, Holtzman is coming off a first-round knockout loss to Beneil Dariush at UFC Fight Night 174 in August. Prior to that, the MMA Lab fighter notched back-to-back wins over Dong Hyun Ma and veteran Jim Miller.
