Coach Kevin Willard has the Terrapins off to a stellar start, beating 7 of its 1st 8 opponents by double-digits. Senior Donta Scott leads the team with 15.4 ppg and sophomore Julian Reese is the top rebounder at 7.8 per game.
Wisconsin, always a defense-1st team, is led by senior Tyler Wall, who averages 14.5 points and 7.1 rebounds per game, while sophomore Chucky Hepburn averages 12.5 points and leads the team with 1.9 steals per game. This will be a hard, close battle between 2 teams who will be in contention down the stretch for not just a tournament berth, but also a conference title.

BET MARYLAND +100.
Maryland is not going to go undefeated. There are big games coming up for the Terrapins which will be difficult to go through without a blemish.
While this is 1 of those games, Maryland should get through the Badgers in Madison. As the underdogs in this game, I would rather bet them moneyline then on the spread. The payout is better, and the 1.5 points does not move the needle for me to reconsider. This is my favorite play in this game.
Against the spread
PASS.
If you feel that Wisconsin will win, this is the way to go. With my feeling that Maryland will win the game outright, I would rather take the risk on the ML at +100 and not worry about the spread.
Over/Under
BET OVER 130.5 (-115)
Wisconsin has never been accused of being an offensive juggernaut. It tends to slow down the game and bore the life out of its opponent. In this game, Maryland will be able to get up enough where Wisconsin will need to press a bit and put up some points.
This will be a close fight to the end and there should be some last-minute fouling to get this game up. Bet Over 130.5 (-115).
