The Cornhuskers have the worst record in Big Ten play but cover the spread at the fourth-highest rate in conference games. Nebraska is 8-6 against the spread (ATS) in Big Ten play and has covered in five of its last seven conference games.

Maryland at Nebraska odds, lines, picks and predictions
Prediction
Nebraska 76, Maryland 73
Money line
SPRINKLE on NEBRASKA (+110).
Nebraska is much better at home and Maryland is far worse on the road.
The difference between these teams is already slim, and Nebraska clearly feels more comfortable at home when comparing its 7-10 SU record on their home court compared to 0-7 on the road. Nebraska is 10-7 ATS at home.
What Nebraska does best is score as it averages 72.6 points per game behind 6-foot-7 G Bryce McGowens.
Maryland gave up a combined 60 points to Iowa who sports a 6-foot-1 guard and a 6-foot-8 forward. McGowens should be able to find a rhythm at home against a team that sits 239th in opponents’ points per game.
Against the spread
BET on NEBRASKA +1.5 (-105).
For all the reasons above, I like Nebraska here.
Over/Under
“LEAN” to the OVER 145.5 (-115).
Because of both a solid offense and atrocious defense, Nebraska is 16-9 O/U this season.
While Maryland doesn’t defend at a high level, neither does Nebraska. The Cornhuskers are 349th in opponents’ points per game and have gone Over the projected total in seven of their last 10 games.
I expect them to again go over here.
