It was a rough game all around for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday — like, shockingly rough.
The New Orleans Saints went to Tampa and left with a dominant 38-3 win. And Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore wasn’t in any mood to take a humble approach to the huge win over a division rival.
For the third straight game, Lattimore had shut down Bucs star receiver Mike Evans. Though Evans had four catches for 64 yards in the game, he put up zeros while matched up against Lattimore. On Sunday, Evans was only targeted twice when matched up with Lattimore, and he had no catches.
Lattimore was sensing a trend, and he had quite the message for Evans after the game.

The Saints cornerback commented on a tweet about Evans’ struggles and wrote, “Better luck next year.”
Tampa had already lost to New Orleans in Week 1. So unless the two teams meet again in the playoffs, Lattimore is going to carry those bragging rights into the 2021 season.
