Marshall Faulk and Andrew Whitworth both played in the star-studded American Century Championship, and the Hall of Fame RB finished 10th

A pair of former Rams stars were on the course playing in the biggest celebrity golf tournament of the year over the weekend, the American Century Championship. Andrew Whitworth and Marshall Faulk were both in the field in Tahoe, competing against the likes of Steph Curry, Tony Romo, Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, Mike Modano, John Smoltz and Justin Timberlake.

Whitworth made his debut in this great tournament last year, finishing tied for 25th. Faulk didn’t play in 2021 but he put together a strong three days this year.

Faulk finished alone in 10th place out of 87 golfers earning 49 points in the modified Stableford format. He fired rounds of 76, 75 and 76, so he was Mr. consistent.

Whitworth struggled a bit this time around, posting two rounds of 89 in the first two days before closing with an 82; he only had two birdies across the three rounds after shooting rounds of 79, 84 and 78 last year with nine total birdies.

Tony Romo won the American Century Championship in a playoff over Mark Mulder and Joe Pavelski, his third time winning this event.
