Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown suffered a foot injury late in the team’s 19-9 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Cornerback Tariq Woolen landed on Brown after intercepting a pass from quarterback Kyler Murray.

That injury could end his season, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

After the game on Sunday, he was wearing a boot on his foot and he told reporters that X-rays were negative.

He is undergoing testing Monday to see how bad it is.

Brown, acquired this offseason by the Cardinals in a trade, is the team’s leading receiver with 43 receptions for 485 yards and three touchdowns.

If his season is over, he is still under contract for one more season.

Brown’s injury could be why the Cardinals made the move to acquire receiver Robbie Anderson from the Carolina Panthers on Monday.
