Less than 24 hours after being released by the Los Angeles Rams, Todd Gurley has found a new home.
The former Georgia running back is coming back to the Peach State, where he has signed a one-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons.
The news of Gurley’s signing created a massive buzz around the NFL, but nobody loved it more than those who double as a Georgia Bulldog and Atlanta Falcon fan.
Mark Richt, who coached at Georgia from 2001-15, may have no ties to the Falcons but he took to Twitter to express his excitement over Gurley, who he coached in Athens from 2012-14, coming back home.
If I am a Falcons fan or a Georgia fan I am jumping for joy right now!! Welcome back Todd Gurley!
