Kentucky basketball is set to begin SEC play next weekend against the Florida Gators after a final non-conference game against Brown. Prior to the Brown game, coach Mark Pope spoke about injuries on his call-in show, and mentioned Brandon Garrison.
According to Pope, Garrison is having some non-serious injury as the new year approaches. He didn’t specify what the injury was, just giving a simple update.
Nothing serious, but he’s dealing with a few things.

Garrison is having a solid Sophomore season, averaging 5.5 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. More importantly, he has given them some big minutes, and played well in some big moments for them.
It seems as if the injuries to Garrison are minor, and won’t keep him out of action. Hopefully they won’t linger and he can continue to improve. He has loads of talent and can be a big part of a March Madness run.
