The UCLA Bruins have been on a lot of finalists lists for some top recruits in the game. One of them was Marcus Harris, who had UCLA as a finalist along with Oklahoma, Oregon, and Georgia.
However, Harris decided to join the Oklahoma Sooners, per Hayes Fawcett of On3.
Harris revealed his reasoning for going to Norman instead of the others, per Fawcett: “I would really say the coaching staff,” Harris said. “I feel like Coach Jones, Coach Venables and the rest of the staff had a plan for me. I really felt needed and wanted. Also when I stepped foot on campus it just felt like home.”

Harris would’ve been a huge get for DeShaun Foster and his staff, and it would’ve been nice to get a local product from Mater Dei High School.
But, he is headed to the SEC to join the Sooners in a big get for Brent Venables.
