Many former Cardinals players honored before Saturday’s ‘Back to Football’ practice

At Saturday’s ‘back to football’ practice, the Cardinals recognized many former players.

On Saturday, the NFL held its “back to football” weekend, the first weekend of most team’s training camp.

The Arizona Cardinals participated in that. While it was a regular practice and fans were in State Farm Stadium, head coach Jonathan Gannon addressed the crowd and the team recognized many alumni players.

Many are familiar names.

I did my best to catch the introduction of every player, but these were the former Cardinals  who were on hand and announced to the crowd:

  • Kylie Fitts (LB, 2019-2021)
  • Patrick Hunter (CB, 1995)
  • MarTay Jenkins (WR, 1999-2002)
  • Kevin Kasper (WR, 2002-2003)
  • Deuce Lutui (OL, 2006-2011)
  • Ahmad Merritt (WR, 2007-2008)
  • Zach Moore (DL, 2018)
  • Ben Patrick (TE, 2007-2010)
  • Michael Pittman Sr. (RB, 1998-2001)
