The Seahawks will begin their 2022 season at home 10 days from now, hosting the Broncos for the first Monday Night Football game of the year.
For those who are so inclined, they can listen to an alternate analysis rather than the regular ESPN broadcast, which will now feature former Fox duo Joe Buck and Troy Aikman doing commentary.
Peyton and Eli Manning will apparently return to do more of their Manningcast show this year – which runs during MNF games on ESPN2. They’ll do 10 games total, including Week 1 between Seattle and Denver.

Objectivity may not be the biggest draw, here. Peyton is expected to join the Broncos’ new ownership group and he’s spent a lot of time working with Russell Wilson this offseason.
Speaking of Mr. Unlimited, Wilson just signed a five-year contract extension worth a total of $245 million. It makes him the second-highest paid quarterback in the league annually behind Aaron Rodgers.
How Wilson fares against the Seahawks’ new Vic Fangio-type two-high defense will be one of the biggest x-factors.
