Magic rookie Paolo Banchero pulled up to Isaiah Thomas’ pro-am

Banchero pulled up to compete in the seventh annual “Zeke-End” pro-am basketball tournament in Washington.

Orlando Magic rookie Paolo Banchero on Saturday pulled up to compete in the seventh annual “Zeke-End” pro-am basketball tournament at Tacoma Community College in Washington.

The tournament is hosted by two-time NBA All-Star Isaiah Thomas, and it often features several notable players, including Thomas himself. Atlanta Hawks guard Dejounte Murray also competed in the event on Saturday in Tacoma.

Banchero and Thomas have competed in many of the same events in the area over the years, including the CrawsOver Pro-Am in Seattle. The two linked up on Friday when Banchero threw out the first pitch for the Seattle Mariners.

The appearance by Banchero continued a busy offseason for the No. 1 pick. Prior to playing in Tacoma on Saturday, he recently dropped 50 points in the CrawsOver Pro-Am alongside Chet Holmgren, who had 34 points and 14 rebounds.

Banchero tries to give back to his home state often, and he has done just that since getting drafted by the Magic. He has dazzled on the court and looks to bring that with him into his rookie campaign.
