Fourth Quarter:
Down by one with most of the fourth quarter reamining, thanks to a quick Miami defensive stop to start the quarter, Tagovailoa led a drive down the field, headline by a big Gaskin run to put the Dolphins within Rams territory.
A 22-yard look to Gesicki in the end zone was broken up, then a 10-yard sack by Aaron Donald forced a third-and-twenty. It is important to note that the sack by Donald did not injure or slow Tagovailoa.
A strong 18-yard pass was not enough for the first down, but it gave Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders and easy chip shot to give Miami the lead.
What followed was a meltdown by the Dolphins defense. A touchdown scored but the Rams up by five.
The following drive by Miami was a three-and-out that featured a slow-motion sack by Aaron Donald; once again, no injury, but a lost fumble.
A Rams field goal capped off the scoring for the game, but not before one last attempt by Tagovailoa to go downfield to Parker. A 25-yard pass was in his hands, but dropped, and would have put Miami deep into Rams territory with roughly a minute left.
A Miami loss, but not a terrible first outing for the young quarterback.
